Biopsy and genetic testing (PGT)If it is necessary to check the embryo for chromosomal or genetic issues, the embryologist takes a small number of cells from the embryo (without harming its development) and sends them for analysis. The results help select an embryo with the lowest risk of hereditary diseases or chromosomal abnormalities.

Embryo transfer and hCG monitoring after 10 daysThe chosen embryo is thawed (if it was frozen) and transferred into the uterus. The procedure is brief and nearly painless. Ten days later, a blood test for hCG is conducted to confirm whether pregnancy has occurred.
